Get inspired as we take a closer look at the amazing things that can happen when we work towards a common goal.
- Reminiscence Boxes - A GYROS supported project for sharing memories and experiences of different groups, held in multiple locations with food, customs and stories shared. (Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft)
- Rewriting Rural Racism - A project where different members of the community contributed their stories about settling in the UK. (Norfolk)
- Stories Behind Food - A group of three readers including myself shared stories from six women originating from Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde, Venezuela, São Tomé, Portugal, and Mozambique. (Great Yarmouth Library)
- Reading Project - This project brought together people whose first language was Portuguese to share excerpts of literature, such as books and poems, from different Portuguese-speaking countries like Angola, Guinea Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal, Brazil, Cape Verde, and more. The group had a fantastic time, and during the final session, they invited their children, making it a wonderful experience for all. (Great Yarmouth Library)
